Murder of wife with machete on suspicion of adultery

An incident where a wife was beaten to death with a machete on suspicion of having an adulterous relationship took place in Anekal town.

Prema (25) is the murdered woman and the accused has been identified as Venkatesachari. 9 years ago Prema and Venkateshachari fell in love and got married. The couple had a 7-year-old daughter.

For the past two years, the couple was renting Govindaraju's house on Hoovadigar Street in Anekal town.

On Saturday morning, another fight broke out between the two over the same issue. Then Ramesh hit his wife's neck and hand with a machete. As a result, the woman died on the spot.

Anekal police have visited the spot and are investigating.
